The last mosquito tests of the year in Rhode Island have come back negative for both West Nile Virus and EEE.
Now that the mosquito population has started to die down, this October 7 batch was the last one to be tested for the year.
This year in the state, four mosquito samples tested positive for EEE and seven tested positive for West Nile.
