A Providence city councilman is not happy with the licensing board and he wants to strip them of their pay because they did not shut down Cheaters.
Majority leader Seth Yurdin says the board's decision not to pull the strip club's license was a "dereliction of duty."
Cheater's is accused of illegally hiring a 15-year old and allowing prostitution.
The city wanted the license revoked, but the board decided to give them a 45 day suspension and a 5 thousand dollar fine.
Yurdin plans to introduce legislation that would strip the board members' pay at Thursday's council meeting.
