This morning, cars lined up outside the Cardi's in West Warwick as people came out to help victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Cardi's Furniture set up bins asking the public to donate some of the most necessary items, like bottled water and diapers, to those affected.

Even local groups who organized their own donation drives were encouraged to bring their boxes to Cardi's so that they could be shipped over together.

Bins were set up at 5 area Cardi's stores.

The typhoon killed more than 5,200 people and left another 1,600 missing.

More on today's donation drive tonight at 6:30 on ABC6.
