The brother and sister have been entertaining together for nearly five decades. Throughout the years each have topped charts and preformed a variety of music from country to rock and roll, but TV Christmas specials are what bring back the memories for the two.
"We started out as children on the Andy Williams Christmas Specials, which were a staple in people's lives on television," said Marie Osmond.
"I think the memories of doing the Donny and Marie Show for four years we did. They are great memories for me. The skits, the production, the musical numbers all the dancing, the humor you know. You don't see that on television anymore and because it's a lot of work first of all and very expensive," said Donny Osmond.
ABC6 News traveled to Las Vegas to talk with Donny and Marie about their Christmas Tour coming to the Dunkin Donut Center on December 14th.
The two perform at the Flamingo Hotel. Their show was rated Best of Las Vegas in 2012. It was only suppose to be a five year guest appearance, but has turned into more than five years and was extended until the end of 2014. The Flamingo showroom recently renamed for siblings.
"I kind of balked a little bit. It should have been the Donny Showroom, but they added Marie's name, said Donny.
"It should have been the Marie and Donny Showroom," said Marie. "It's the Donny and Marie. I got top billing," said Donny. "I get last word," added Marie.
The two say it never gets old performing in Las Vegas or on the road.
Mike LaCrosse: "What is it like seeing the smiles and seeing the faces and bringing that family entertainment to folks?
"Well that's the best part about it, isn't it? Entertainment is about escaping and going someplace and going someplace that is not real," said Donny.
The Christmas Show combines some of their classics with sounds of the season.
