PROVIDENCE, RI- For those who didn't want to deal with the fuss of making a Thanksgiving meal, they dined out instead.
The Capital Grill in Providence was packed today. People from neighboring states even came in to dine.
One woman told us she's just glad she doesn't have to worry about the prep work, or cleaning dishes.
"Well, you just said it: slaving over a hot stove and also for me, it's doing the dishes afterwards," said Shannon Hansen
One diner said, "I love to cook, but it's nice to have it done for you."
This year is the first time Capital Grille has been open on Thanksgiving. The restaurant took over 700 reservations today.
