New digital cameras should make the job of Rhode Island State Police a little easier.
Met–life insurance company donated the 130 Cameras on Monday, one for each uniformed member.
The State police say they'll be a useful tool to help prevent insurance fraud.
Steve O'Donnell says "When you stop a vehicle or there's a car accident, you can match that accident, the damage on scene. It's memorialized forever and when the claims come here there's no changing them."
The State Police can then download the pictures from the cameras into their computer system.
