The votes are in and the four town council members facing a recall in Exeter are keeping their positions.
Nearly 2,000 people turned out in the snow for the special election.
The four council members were under scrutiny for wanting the state to take over the process for getting a concealed weapon.
Right now, Exeter has no police department to issue the permits.
More than 60-percent of voters opted to keep the council members in place.
