People in Foxboro were experiencing heavy amounts of snow early on during Thursday's storm.
There was about 4.5 inches of snow on the ground as of 10 pm Thursday. People out picking up some last minute items before stores closed say they are use to getting hit hard by mother natured compared to their friends to the south.
"My coworkers call it the snowbelt cause we usually get six or more inches than they do in Providence," Jeanette Palmer, Foxboro.
"I know Foxboro sometimes gets worse than other places its weird like this whole area, but obviously you know all area vary," said Amanda Donahue, Foxboro.
