The CEO of one of the fastest growing privately owned companies in America has purchased a Newport mansion.
Giovanni Feroce, CEO of Alex and Ani announced Friday afternoon the purchase of the beautiful Wyndham estate for $6.8 million dollars which was paid for in cash.
The estate sits on twelve acres of land with over 12,000 square feet. It has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, nine fireplaces, a library and a grand ballroom among many other things.
"For someone who grew up in West Warwick, this move to Newport not only fulfills a childhood dream but should serve as a reminder that the American dream is alive and well – you just have to work for it," Feroce stated. "I do not believe in reinventing the wheel. The wealthiest of Americans should reconsider making Newport home once more as it was in the Guilded Age and not limit it to a tourist attraction."
