A convicted murderer was denied his request for a new trial on Thursday.
In December, Leron Porter was convicted of gunning down 17-year-old Tiphany Tallo.
Tallo was killed in May of 2011 when Porter and members of his family showed up at her Spruce Street home to fight he 19-year-old sister.
Porter was also convicted of discharging a firearm in a crime of violence and possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 6.
