An Easton man has been indicted for drunk driving for the eighth time. 46-year-old David Frates was indicted Thursday in Fall River Superior Court, just a day after he was arrested in Rehoboth for drunk driving and having an open container in his vehicle.
Frates was stopped for driving erratically on Route 44. When officers approached his vehicle they say he was displaying the signs of intoxication and he was holding a plastic cup. He is charged with OUI 8th offense and driving with an open container.
Frates has been ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
