UPDATE: The deer rescued by Tiverton officials on Thursday afternoon has had to be euthanized.
Officials in Tiverton had their hands full on Thursday afternoon when they responded to a call on Deer run road for reports of a deer stuck between two rocks.
After an hour of trying all types of techniques officials ended up trying warm water and soap to try and dislodge the deer and they were successful.
The deer was a bit fatigued and seemed to be doing well. The owners of the property were kind enough to let the deer stay in their shed until it gained enough strength to walk back into the woods.
