People in North Attleboro are coming together to help support local businesses affected by a massive building fire.
A fire broke out inside the Oddfellow Building earlier this month, and since Thursday, a cash mob has been going on, hoping to get people out and spending money in the area.
Store owners say the spike in business is helping them recover from those closures.
Many were closed for a week due to water damage and road closures.
The stores have since re-opened, and they are grateful for the support.
TJ McGilvray, Manager of Café Porto Bello, says,"It's kind of reinvigorated business obviously for us, we're just happy to be back open and be able to take care of all of those who take care of us."
Rob Dziubek, Co-owner of The Preservation Framer, says, "Little, by little, we're all in it together and we're gonna get ourselves back up and running and take care of each other."
Store owners are giving a big thank you to the community. The Oddfellows Building has since been torn down.
