A Freetown man was ordered held without bail after reportedly assaulting his wife with a samurai sword.

33-year-old Robert Reynolds was arrested Saturday after police responded to a domestic dispute call at his home.

Shortly before getting there, police got a second call that Reynolds was assaulting his wife with a sword.

Inside the house, police found more than 100 grams of cocaine and $1400 cash.

Reynolds is charged with drug trafficking, attempted murder and assault and battery.

He will be held without bail until his detention hearing February 7.
