You may have noticed our morning show crew including anchors, Doreen Scanlon and Matt Blanchette, and Meteorologist Steve Cascione wearing the color red today. It's no coincidence.

Meany people will be 'going red' on Friday, February 7. It is National Wear Red Day® sponsored by the American Heart Association. The day is mean to raise awareness in the fight against heart disease in women.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined, according to the American Heart Association.
