Eleven students from Johnson and Wales competed for money to start their own businesses.

The students took part in a "Shark Fest" competition– similar to the hit show shark tank, pitching their plans to a panel of entrepreneurs at the school today.

The concepts include a women's clothing line, a social networking site for gamers, similar to Linked In and a company that takes your trash to the curb and returns it when it's emptied.

The grand prize winner was a social venture, a mobile soup kitchen called "food for good."
