Lizzie Borden House cat gone missing

A friendly feline that has been greeting visitors at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast and Museum in Fall River for the past eight years has gone missing.

"Max Borden" a 9-year-old black cat with three white toes and gold eyes was last seen on Sunday at the Bed & Breakfast on 92 Second Street. Lee-Ann Wilber, curator of the Bed & BReakfast said she let him out in the morning and has not seen him since.

"We all miss him," said Wilber. "I feel like I have lost my baby."

Max is wearing a black collar with two silver hatchets hanging from it and a name tag which reads "Max Borden."
