UPDATE: North Providence stabbing suspect turns himself in

UPDATE: Frank Green has turned himself in according to the North Providence Police Department.

North Providence Police Department is asking for the publics help in locating a suspect involved in a stabbing on Wednesday.

Police believe Frank Green, 40, of Alexander Street stabbed his 39-year-old girlfriend in the neck on Wednesday night.

Green then allegedly fled the scene. Police believe he might be driving a blue, 1999 Mercury, RI Reg. 806148.

On Feb. 9, Green was arrested for a domestic disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and released. Green was ordered to have no-contact with his girlfriend.

Police say the victim is currently in the hospital in stable condition.

Anyone with information regarding Green's whereabouts is asked to call the North Providence Police Department at 401.231.4533.
