Three suspects wanted in a nearly $2M dollar check fraud scheme

Rhode Island state police are searching for three men wanted in a check fraud scheme. The scheme totals nearly $2 Million dollars and involves the United States secret service, Warwick and Providence police department.

Officials say 24-year old Jamal Mansaray, 22-year old Stefan Gaye and 21-year old Aaron Soe from Providence, passed fake checks in which they claimed were from legitimate local banks like Washington Trust and Coastway community credit union.

The three men have active arrest warrants for their involvement in the scheme.
