After reporting 3.7" snow on Tuesday, Providence has received 19.7" snow this month and 41.8" this season. Both of those numbers are well above normal. As a matter of fact, this is the 3rd snowiest February in Providence in the last 20 years (and the month isn't over yet).

Forecast... Expect mostly clear skies into Wednesday morning, with lows in the mid 20s and highs in the lower 40s. There is a good chance of rain by the afternoon, with winds increasing from the SE at 10-15 mph. Showers could linger into Wednesday evening, then clearing skies and overnight lows in the upper 20s.

Nice Thursday with sunshine and highs in the mid 40s. Clouds increase Thursday night with a chance of rain after midnight. Lows will be in the mid 30s.

Rainy, breezy and mild Friday with highs in the lower to mid 50s and gusty south winds.
