It's been a wild couple of weeks for the Castelli's, and now they're back in Cranston after proudly watching their daughter Marissa skate out her dream in Sochi. We sat down with the Castelli's who share what's next for the skating couple.

Lori and Toni Castelli just returned from Russia where they say they only saw their daughter Marissa for a total of 30 minutes off the ice.

"They announced that they want to do it for the next Olympics, they didn't tell us, so were going to wait and see, did it really come out of their mouths, is it really true?" the Castelli's laughed.

Because they only saw their daughter for a short time, they still haven't confirmed whether she and partner Simon plan to go for a second olympics. But, they were prepared for the separation, after reading an article from a former olympian of what parents should expect of their children at the olympics.

They explained, "when they're there, they do their job. Don't put any pressure on them, don't ask them for anything, it was great advice, if they need you they'll call you."

Marissa definitely did her job. She and Simon placed 9th overall in pairs, and even took a bronze in the inaugural team figure skating. Making her parents very proud.

"We were happy with how they skated, you know under the pressure with first olympics I thought they really did well," said Lori Castelli.

The trip was everything the Castelli's imagined and more. The best part, was being in the front row when they got their medals.

"Just watching their faces, it was just like wow, we kept saying I can't believe I'm here," they said.

Marissa and Simon get home on Monday. But there's no time for relaxing, they'll be off to the world championships in Japan in just three weeks.

It's a lifestyle these parents are starting to get used to.

"We're just so proud of them, we're proud of him, proud of her, you know I hope she had a great time, took it all in," they smiled.
