A juvenile charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of 17-year-old George Holland on Colfax Street will be tried as an adult.

Holland, a Hope High School football player, was shot through the window while standing in the kitchen of his girlfriend's home on Feb. 4.

The juvenile, identified as 17-year-old Robert Winston, has been held in the RI Training School since his arrest. He was charged in Providence District Court Friday afternoon with first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. He was ordered held without bail.

Earlier this month 18-year-old Ashner Alexis, 18-year-old Alain Bedame, 19-year-old Limamou Ndoye, and 21-year-old Anthony Moore were arraigned on first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder charges. The four suspects will appear along with Winston for a bail review on March 7.
