A preliminary investigation revealed that a 1995 black Lexus Sedan pulled up to the passenger pick up lane at Logan airport and stopped. The Lexus then jumped the curb striking three people. All of which were transported to local hospitals, one suffering life threatening injuries.

State Police don't know what caused a 53–year old woman from North Andover who was behind the wheel to drive her Lexus up on the curb at Terminal C.

Mark William Bracken who was eyewitness states that the driver of the vehicle "would have had to gone at significant speed to do what she did from a stopped position to a moving position."

The accident remains under investigation
