A Providence officer and his K9 have been callled to help with security on Marathon Monday. Lincoln Sisson and Kyra will be reporting to Boston at 3 AM and will be assigned a certain area along the race route to sniff out explosives. Kyra, a bomb sniffing dog, showed us how nothing gets passed her nose

Officer Sisson said, "Boston PD contacted my Colonel, Colonel Clements, and requested mutual aid and he responded by saying give them whatever they need. It's a huge security task and I'm just glad to be a part of it."

4–year–old Kyra is a Belgian Shephard and is trained to sniff out possible explosives in cars, in bags, buildings, and open areas.
