A Rhode Island man, who served nearly two decades in prison for killing his girlfriend back in 1992, was arraigned today for another murder.

Andrew Jett, 55, pleaded not guilty to charges he beat his girlfriend, Michelle Busby, to death two years ago.  He was released from jail for his previous crime just 3 years before.

Attorney General Kilmartin is seeking life without the possibility of parole.

Jett is being held without bail. He is due back in court in July.
