BURRILVILLE - Last summer movie–goers all over the world were introduced to a Harrisville farmhouse that is supposedly haunted by evil spirits, causing death and destruction for anyone living in it.

But for one woman currently living there, the horror isn't coming from spirits.

It's coming from people.

"We will never feel safe or secure again, we have forever lost our sense of peace and privacy, and as long as we live here, we will never feel that peace and for any of the future," said Norma Sutcliffe in a YouTube video. She currently owns and lives in the Burrilville farmhouse made famous by the movie The Conjuring.

She says haunting fans are constantly stalking her, harassing her, and trespassing onto her property.

"[They] believe they have the right to maliciously and willfully invade and violate our home and our lives, and to threaten our well being both emotionally and psychologically and physically,  she said in the video.

Sutcliffe says she was never informed that a movie was going to be made about the house she's been living in for more than 25 years.

"Even when they were informed of the horrendous experience that we were facing no one bothered to contact us."

Sutcliffe says she's had to post signs all over her property warning people to stay away...

But that it's not working.

"Now it angers me every time I come and go from our home, to have to see what looks to me like a circus with signs all around the property, and ropes and chains and flags," she said.

She continues in the video to provide what she calls evidence that proves the original hauntings never happened.
