A Portsmouth couple and their business have been indicted on federal charges on allegations that they marketed and sold more than $2 million worth of products not approved by the FDA as cancer mitigation and treatment options.

It is alleged that James Feijo and his wife Patricia Feijo were marketing and selling unapproved health products on the internet, through in-store advertisements, and a call center. Daniel Chapter One, owned by James Feijo, was selling 7 Herb Formula, Bio Shark, and GDU which are products not recognized as safe by the FDA.

It is further alleged that between 2006 and 2011 Feijo falsely represented to Daniel Chapter One employees that they were independent contractors and he failed to issue IRS Wage and Tax Statements and W-2 forms accounting for his employees’ wages and taxes withheld. Feijo is also accused of failing to file individual tax returns with the IRS.
