The suspect in a wild police chase that led from Woonsocket to Providence and ended in Cumberland was arraigned on a slew of charges from three departments on Friday.

26-year-old Michael Ebiwa of Woonsocket was arrested in the incident. He was charged with stealing a car, running from police, and assault with a deadly weapon among many other charges. He is being held without bail.

It is alleged that after breaking into a Woonsocket home Ebiwa led police on a chase to Providence where he crashed his vehicle. Then he allegedly carjacked another vehicle, shot a man in the foot and fled. The ordeal ended on Mendon Road in Cumberland.
