The American Lung Association announces today, it's giving away $1.8 million dollars in vouchers that'll go to homeowners all across New England.
They'll pay to replace old wood stoves with newer, more energy efficient stoves.
The purpose is to reduce pollution.
“This program will be reducing air pollution in an area where more than 3 million people live,” says Jeff Seyler of the American Lung Association. “The program is good for the health of residents and it's good for the economy.”
