Country Star Hunter Hays Tries to Break Record in Providence Today

Country music star Hunter Hayes is coming to Providence, if only for a minute. The 22-year-old singer is trying to break the world record for the most concerts played in 24 hours, and will play at Lupo’s as a part of the show. Hayes is raising money for ConAgra Foods' efforts to end childhood hunger along

The Flaming Lips hold the current record.


Hayes' rapid-fire tour began this morning at 8 a.m. with a performance on Good Morning America, before moving on to Boston, then to Worcester at 11:30 a.m. before moving on to Providence, New London, Connecticut, New Haven, Connecticut, South Orange, New Jersey, Asbury Park, New Jersey, and finally Philadelphia.

Ticket are $10.
