Candles burned in City Park in Warwick Saturday night in memory of a man murdered there one year ago.

A group of almost 50 people came out in memory of 66-year-old Jack Fay.

Fay was jogging in City Park last year, but never came home. His body was found inside of a trash can. Police are still searching for his killer.

A few months ago, police released a picture of a sledge hammer found near the crime scene, but still no arrests have been made.

Fay’s daughter Meaghan worries that her father’s case may go unsolved, but says she is not giving up hope.

“We can't give up and this is why we are doing this again, to get the story back out there and to ask the public for their help and I think the big question now is, did somebody just leave town and seem suspicious about a year ago at this time.”

Anyone with information about Fay’s death is urged to call the Warwick Police Department.
