The Miss and Little Miss 4th of July were crowned Saturday night in Bristol.

Little Miss 4th is Reyn Ferris, a 3rd grader at Colt Andrews Elementary School. Miss 4th is Carla Braga, a junior studying education.

The pageant was held at Mount Hope High School and emceed by our own Doreen Scanlon.

Both ladies say they didn’t think their names would be called.

"I was thinking oh my God, they must have made a mistake."

"When they called my name, I was like, are you sure? It was me? It's me oh my God. I got really emotional because I know how happy I made my mom."

The Bristol 4th of July parade is the oldest continuous parade in the U.S.
