State Police arrest 5 men for lewd behavior at Lincoln Woods

RI State Police have announced five men have been arrested for asking state police troopers to have sex with them at Lincoln Woods.

The men, John J. Cote, age 43, of Seekonk, MA, David J. Calewa, age 47, of Coventry, RI, William F. Achille, age 79, of North Providence, RI, John C. Tammelleo, age 79, of Providence, RI, Roger T. Morin, age 69, of Woonsocket, RI, were all charged with Disorderly conduct and Loitering for indecent purposes.

Calewa and Achille’s were also charged with simple assault.

The men were arrested inside the popular state park earlier today when troopers confronted the men about their lewd behavior towards other park visitors.

They then propositioned the troopers for sex and some assaulted them.

The 5 men have already been arraigned and released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
