Fifth suspect arrest in Boston Marathon Bombing investigation

A fifth person has been arrested in the Boston Marathon Bombing investigation according to the U.S. Attorney in Massachusetts.

23-year-ol Khairullozhon Matanov of Quincy is facing charges for obstructing justice. He was arrested Friday morning and is expected to appear in court this afternoon at 2 p.m.

Matanov is accused of one count of destroying, altering, and falsifying records, documents and tangible objects in a federal investigation. Specifically he is accused of destroying information on his computer. He also faces three counts of making materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements in a federal terrorism investigation.

On April 19, 2013, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 20, and his brother Tamerlan, 26, allegedly left two pressure cooker bombs at the marathon finish line. Three people were killed and hundreds were injured when the bomb went off. Three college friends of Dzhokhar were also arrested in the investigation.
