A Burrillville boy whose cancer fight has drawn national attention is finally getting a bone marrow transplant. 7–year–old Tyler Seddon's mother posted on Facebook Sunday that Monday is "the big day."

Seddon could be in the hospital for up to 10 weeks.

Seddon's birthday party brought in first responders in from all over the country as he was named honorary Burrillville police chief.

This is his second battle with leukemia.
