A man accused of buying alcohol for three fifth grade girls and drinking with them pleaded not guilty in Providence District Court Wednesday morning.

Burrillville Police arrested Paul White, who goes by Christina, after his 10-year-old daughter and two of her friends were found intoxicated at his home. A neighbor alerted police after they observed a 10-year-old girl who appeared to be intoxicated. The neighbor said they heard yelling and screaming from the home.

When police arrived they discovered White's ten-year-old daughter to be "obviously intoxicated." In addition there were several alcohol bottles, and a container of vomit. White was also present at the resident. During the investigation police discovered another 10-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl had also been drinking at the residence but had just left.

White was arrested and charged with three counts of procuring alcohol to a minor and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges and bail was set at $1000.00 with surety.

DCYF has taken temporary custody of his daughter. White was ordered to have no contact with children under the age of 18.
