Federal prosecutors and lawyers for Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-HAHR' tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) are due in court this week for a status conference.

A judge is expected to set a schedule for motions to be filed before Tsarnaev's trial begins in November. A status conference is scheduled Wednesday in U.S. District Court.

Authorities say Tsarnaev and his older brother, Tamerlan, planted two pressure cooker bombs near the finish of the 2013 marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 260.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev died following a shootout with police. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has pleaded not guilty to 30 federal charges. He faces the possibility of the death penalty.

Tsarnaev's lawyers have said they plan to ask to move his trial out of Boston.

Tsarnaev is detained without bail.
