20-year-old Nicole Dilello of East Greenwich was arrested after striking a State Police cruiser on 95 in Providence.

Police say two police cruisers were pulled over in the first travel lane while troopers were helping a disabled vehicle around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Dilello was driving by the cruisers when she hit one of them, which was unoccupied with the emergency lights on. All occupants were out of their vehicles at the time.

The cruiser was propelled forward causing it to hit the broken down vehicle. Both vehicles were heavily damaged but the troopers and owner of the disabled vehicle were able to avoid being hit.

Dilello complained of pain and was sent to Rhode Island Hospital where she refused to take a chemical test. The two sixteen year old passengers in the car with Dilello were also sent to the hospital for minor injuries and were later summonsed to appear before the Family Court for Possession of Alcoholic Beverage by an Underage Person.

Dilello is being charged for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs- second offense, driving with a suspended license, refusing to take a chemical test, and transportation of alcohol by underage person.
