Providence Police used flattery and a picture of an attractive woman to nab a suspected thief in the capital city.

A pizza delivery driver was beaten up and robbed after a person phoned in a fake order back on June 16th.

Police used a phone number that they got from the victim to texted that man, 32-year-old Rodney Pierce, posing as a woman named "Samantha".

The text said she met the robber recently and thought he was cute.

After exchanging pictures, police asked to meet up with the robber at Kennedy Plaza.

He was then arrested and charged with second degree robbery.
