Summer reading may be a whole lot easier for students in Fall River.

Students at Morton Middle School now have 9,000 books to choose from, thanks to donations from Ocean State Job Lot.

Students picked them up on their last day of school Wednesday.

Vice Principal Mark Mosher says, “It will help them in the classroom and allow them to become life long readers. The impact is tremendous.

The entire city of Fall River is getting 100,000 books, which are worth two million dollars total. Those will be divided between 5 schools.
