Providence felon sentenced to 5 for drugs, firearms

Edgar Pagan, 22 of Providence, has been sentenced to 60 months in federal prison today for possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. 

Pagan was also convicted for possession of a firearm. 

During a scheduled appointment with the Home Confinement Program, officers located eight individually wrapped packages of crack cocaine, Vicodin and Oxycodone pills inside Pagan’s pillow case.

Also found in Pagan’s room, a .45 caliber Glock semi-automatic pistol and an unloaded .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

William E. Smith, U.S. District Court Chief Judge has sentenced Pagan to serve 3 years supervised release upon completion of his prison term.
