Tonight is the Providence Premier of Cirque Du Soleil's: Varekai.

It's the first aerial performance at the Dunkin Donuts Center since the Ringling Brothers circus accident in April.

The accident occurred when 8 performers, who were all hanging by their hair, plunged to the ground after a clamp snapped.

In this weekend’s cirque performance, there are some acts where performers are hanging by bars, netting and, similar devices.

Even with what happened previously, one performer says fear is never on their minds.

"I never think about that. I always think about what I have to do in the net or whatever aerial cue I'm doing and I also trust myself and trust the people who prepare me for the show,” says performer Mark Halesi.

Vareki is a classic Cirque Du Soleil performance, based on a Greek mythology.

Shows will run at the Dunk through Sunday.
