A Cranston woman has claimed the $2 million PowerBall winnings from Saturday’s drawing.

The woman said she was at Stop and Shop in North Kingstown with her husband when he mentioned buying lottery tickets. She said her first inclination was not to bother because they would probably wouldn’t win but when he bought Numbers tickets she decided to play a Powerball quick pick.

The couple just recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary and say they are not sure how they will use their winnings yet.

The ticket matched five numbers but not the PowerBall. She also added the Power Play which doubled her winnings.
