Warwick Detectives have arrested a Providence man who they say forced his way into a home and assaulted 3 residents.

Jon Thomas, 24, of Providence, is accused of forcing his way into a New Britain Drive home in the early morning hours of July 5th and, along with another suspect, assaulted the three adults who lived there.

At least one of the residents sustained injuries.

Police say the suspects also stole specific items from the home before fleeing.

Thomas was arrested Wedensday at his home and was charged with 3 counts of felony assault, larceny, burglary, and use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence.

Police are still looking to identify the second suspect.
