WOBURN, Mass. (AP) - A Framingham man has been indicted by a Middlesex County grand jury for allegedly raping a young family member.
The grand jury charged 22-year-old Erick Figueroa-Recinos with three counts each of aggravated rape of a child and forcible rape of a child, as well as dissemination of a matter harmful to a child.
The MetroWest Daily News reports that Figueroa-Recinos was arrested in April after the parents of the 5-year-old girl reported the alleged assault. Figueroa-Recinos was babysitting the girl at the time of the alleged assault. He also allegedly showed her a video of a sex act.
The suspect was held on $200,000 bail at his district court arraignment. A Superior Court arraignment has not been scheduled.
His lawyer previously said his client had no criminal record.
