A local fisherman who sells his fresh catch out of his boat is dealing with a larceny of lobsters.

Saturday night, a crate full of cull lobsters, which are lobsters with only one claw, was stolen right from the ‘End o Main Lobster’ boat at the town wharf in Wickford.

About 30-35 lobsters were stolen, valued at anywhere from $350-$400.

The company is working with North Kingstown Police to find the suspect but unfortunately the surveillance camera was not setup properly on the dock at the time of the crime - meaning there is no footage of the culprit.

The owner said no punishment will be given if the lobsters are returned or paid for, and if anyone has any information, please call him at (401) 374-5164.
