Woman gets arm run over in carjacking

Fall River Police are searching for the suspect involved in a carjacking that injured a 66-year-old woman.

The incident happened Thursday morning on North Main Street.

Police say the woman was standing outside of her SUV when a man jumped into the driver's seat.

The woman tried to stop him but she was knocked to the ground.

The suspect ran over her arm as he drove off.

Police are searching for a gray 2012 Kia Soul with Massachusetts plates.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 35-years-old, 5’ 11” tall and bald.

The woman is expected to be okay.
