PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence Parks Department announced the opening of a 3.2 mile Greenway line at Roger Williams Park on June 1st.
The Greenway line will have tracks for biking, running, walking and/or running, and car travel will become one-way in most areas along the Greenway loop.
“With the recent array of enhancements, we are encouraging folks to come out and explore one of Rhode Island’s best public parks,” said Mayor Elorza.
When the Greenway loop opens traffic along Pine Hill Avenue to Park Avenue, to the Montgomery Avenue Rotary, will be one-way.
