RI State Police: Man points pistol during road rage incident

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A 34-year-old man was arrested for allegedly pointing a pistol at another driver during a road rage incident.
Phet Senethip, of Ohio Ave, was arrested and charged with assault, weapon and drug charges.
Rhode Island State Police told ABC6 News that the unidentified victim reported that Senethip pointed a handgun at him while he driving on Route 6 west, close to the merge with Route 10 in Providence, around 9:15 p.m., Saturday evening.
Troopers proceeded to investigate, and were able to locate Senethip’s vehicle around 7:15 a.m., Sunday morning, parked on Ohio Ave.
Senethip was arrested, and troopers seized a loaded handgun and small amount of marijuana from the vehicle.
Senethip was charged with the following offenses:
Felony assault with a dangerous weapon.
License or permit required for carrying pistol.
Senethip was also cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
