PROVIDENCE (WLNE) — A 22-year-old alleged Providence gang member was arrested on Tuesday, for buying and selling guns on the street and lending them for a music video.

Daniel Carides, of Carolina Ave., Providence, was arrested after a month-long investigation by the Providence Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), and Narcotics and Organized Crime Bureau (NOC).

Police said ten guns, ammo, magazines, holsters and a ballistic vest were seized from Carides’ home.

Under Rhode Island law, only licensed gun dealers are allowed to sell fire-arms, and police added Carides is not.
